How It Works: 
The PA11-NIS connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. By connecting directly to the radio, the PA11-NIS is able to provide the digital quality music from your iPod that you are looking for. Absolutely NO FM transmission ever again for you and your car. The PA11-NIS offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks up and down, playlists up and down, etc from the same buttons you currently change CD tracks and discs with. At the same time, you will also have full control from the iPod itself to your entire music and video collection. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel will NEVER be disabled. You can access 100% of your iPod. The PA11-NIS also comes with an additional aux input for connecting any device with a headphone jack like Sat Radio, Mp3 player, etc. It is easily accessed from a button on the radio. The PA11-NIS offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. Technical Notes: - If you have Factory Satellite Radio (subscribed to), it MUST be disconnected to use this adapter.
- If you have an External CD-Changer (usually found in trunk, glove box or center console) it must be disconnected.
- In-Dash CD Changer is not affected or disabled.
- Factory Navigation radio IS compatible.
- Radio MUST have external cd changer capabilities. If it does not, the kit will not work.
- 1999-2001: Radio must have a "CD/ CHG" button for this kit to work.
- Maxima-2002-03 - Radio Must be Single CD. 6CD radio is not compatible.
- 2003 - G35: Radio must have a SAT button.
