How It Works:

The i-Audi-T12 connects directly into the prewired cd changer cable in your car. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. By connecting directly to the radio, the i-Audi-T12 is able to provide the digital quality music from your iPod that you are looking for. Absolutely NO FM transmission ever again for you and your car.

The i-Audi-T12 offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks, playlists, albums, and chapters from the same buttons you currently change CD tracks and discs with. At the same time, you will also have full control from the iPod itself to your entire music and video collection. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel will NEVER be disabled. You can access 100% of your iPod. The i-Audi-T12 also comes with an additional aux input for connecting any device with a headphone jack like Sat Radio, Mp3 player, etc. It is easily accessed from a button on the radio.

How It Installs:

The i-Audi-T12 comes with three parts: 1) the vehicle cable, 2) the i-Audi-T12 control module and 3) the iPod cable. The i-Audi-T12 is 100% plug and play – NO cutting or splicing any wires! Simply locate the prewired CD Changer cable in the car, plug in the vehicle cable, connect the module and then the iPod cable. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. The iPod is accessed on the radio by pressing the CD or SAT button on the radio. It can be installed by the Do-It-Yourselfer type or you can take it to ANY local installer, dealership, Best Buy, etc. If your not comfortable doing it, have a professional handle it. i-Audi-T12 comes with everything needed to connect this to your car; there is NOTHING extra to buy.

Technical Notes:

• This kit connects to the External CD Changer plug ONLY. You must have the CDC plug (normally found in glove box) for it to work.
• This will allow you to easily connect it in the glove box (NO radio removal is needed). Look behind the shelf on the top of the glovebox.
• If you have an External CD-Changer (usually found in glove box) it must be disconnected.
• In-Dash CD Player/Changer is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• Factory GPS/Navigation radio IS compatible.
• SAT RADIO RETAINED -
• If you have Factory Satellite Radio (subscribed to), it is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• If you don't have the CDC plug, please see the "at radio" connection kit to determine if SAT radio can be retained.
