• If it still says "Select Make, Model, Year", then you MUST enter your vehicle details and hit "Find Products" to confirm this product IS compatible.

STEP 2: Review the technical notes

 Technical Notes:

• ALL RADIOS - Radio MUST have a BAND button.
• Single CD Radio w/o Band button will work as long as there is a CD/AUX button instead.
• ALL factory options are compatible and retained (Onstar, XM, RSE/DVD, external and internal CD changer). They will function as normal.
• Text is supported on XM capable radio's only. (Some 2003, All 2004+ per "GM tech stats"). XM Capable=Text.
• Compatible with Navigation and Non-Navigation radio.

• Impala/Monte Carlo-00/05:
• Radio MUST have CD/AUX button. Radios with TAPE/CD button are NOT compatible. If your radio has a CD and Tape player, your radio is NOT compatible. Radios 2003+ with a BAND button are compatible regardless of CD/Tape or CD/AUX button.
• Colorado/Canyon: Works with AM/FM/MP3 player AND standard radio w/ BAND button. If its SAT capable, its compatible.
  
• Sierra/Silverado-2007: Must be Classic body style only.
• Toyota Matrix:
  • Single CD radio IS compatible. In-Dash 6 CD radio is NOT compatible. Compatible with Nav & Non-Nav radio.
  • Radio MUST have CD/AUX button. Radios with TAPE/CD button are NOT compatible. If your radio has a CD and Tape player, your radio is NOT compatible.

How It Works:

Sound Quality: The PA15-GM connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. Never use another Cassette or FM transmitter again! These can't compare to the quality of a direct connect adapter.

Control On Radio: The PA15-GM offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks up and down. Your Preset's will allow you to access your music folders. Preset1 = Playlists, Preset2 = Artists, Preset3 = Albums, Preset4 = Plays All Songs on iPod, Preset5 = Allows Direct iPod Access, Preset6 = Selects Aux Input.

Control On iPod: You will also have full control on the iPod/iPhone itself to your entire music and video collection at the press of a radio button. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel are not permanently disabled. On iPhone/Touch you have complete access to Pandora, Sirius/XM or any streaming music program. It will play just like your iPod music (no radio control). You have access to 100% of your iPod/iPhone.

Text Display : The PA15-GM displays text, offering even more integration! You will see the current song Artist & Title right on your radio display. No more blindly skipping through songs. When that song come up that you haven't heard in awhile, you can easily remind yourself who it is, just by glancing at your radio's display.

Charging: The PA15-GM offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. When you change sources or turn off your car, your iPod will auto pause and shut off. When you get out of your car, your battery is fully charged and ready to go.

Aux Input: The PA15-GM also comes with an aux input. Connect ANY device with an audio input jack like Sat Radio, Mp3 player, DVD. It's easily accessed from a radio button and the input is a red/white RCA.

Phone Calls: The PA15-GM is an AUDIO adapter. Per Apple's design, the PA15-GM will not interact with phone calls. Apple doesn't allow audio kits to also hear a person's voice through your speakers. When a phone call comes in, it will behave like it does now, the music will pause and it will switch over to the phone call. You will need to use an earpiece, handsfree car system, bluetooth, etc. They will work the same as they do now, no change.

How It Installs:

Installation: The PA15-GM is an easy install for the average Do-It-Yourselfer. It's 100% plug and play, NO cutting or splicing any wires! Simply remove the radio OR locate the Satellite Tuner (depending on which way you are installing), plug in the vehicle cable, connect the module and then the iPod cable. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. Who installs it?

• The Do-It-Yourselfer type or ANY local installer (Best Buy, Local Chain, Mom&Pop, etc).
• Are you sure that any installer can do it?
• YES! The installers basic training, qualifies them! The main part is to remove the radio, and they do that all day long.
• But I didn't buy it from them, will they still install it?
• YES! The majority of ipod adapters are only sold online. The installers are happy to make money doing the install.
