How It Works:

The TOYPDSDR connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio.  Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. By connecting directly to the radio, the  TOYPDSDR  is able to provide the digital quality music from your iPod that you are looking for. Text – TOYPDSDR displays text offering even more integration! You will see the current song Artist – Title right on your radio display - radio must have Text or Title button.

The TOYPDSDR offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. When you change sources or turn off your car, your iPod will auto pause and shut off. When you get out of your car, your battery is fully charged and ready to go.

How It Installs:

The TOYPDSDR comes with three parts: 1) the vehicle cable, 2) the  TOYPDSDR control module and 3) the iPod cable. The  TOYPDSDR is 100% plug and play – NO cutting or splicing any wires! Simply remove the radio, plug in the vehicle cable, connect the module and then the iPod cable. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. The iPod is accessed on the radio by pressing the CD or SAT button on the radio. It can be installed by the Do-It-Yourselfer type or you can take it to ANY local installer, dealership, Best Buy, etc. If your not comfortable doing it, have a professional handle it. • Works on ALL Nav and Non-Nav Radios that are SAT Radio capable
• Radio MUST be SAT Ready/Capable
  
• Browsing and access to Artist, Album, Genre, Audiobook & Podcast folders available on 5th Gen Nav Radios that have MP3 support .
• Factory Satellite Radio is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• Text is supported on:
• All non-nav radio's with a "Text" button.
• Nav radios with a "text" or "title" button on screen.
• All mp3 capable Gen 5 Nav systems
• Tundra's with Radio model 18904 (base model) doesn't support text. Normally found in 05/06 models.
• In-Dash CD Changer is not affected or disabled.
• If you have an External CD-Changer (usually found in trunk, glove box or center console) it must be disconnected.
• Rear Seat Entertainment/DVD is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• 2009-2010 vehicles with USB Audio input not compatible with this kit.
