STEP 1: Make Sure Your Vehicle is Selected Above

• The PA15-NIS is compatible if your vehicle has been selected above.
  
• If it still says "Select Make, Model, Year", then you MUST enter your vehicle details and hit "Find Products" to confirm this product IS compatible.

STEP 2: Review the technical notes

Technical Notes:

• If your vehicle IS compatible, BUT is NOT XM/Sirius Ready/Capable, then you MUST use the PA15-NIS.
• How to determine if your radio is SAT READY:
• You can access SAT stations or the free preview station.
  
• You had SAT Radio but stopped subscribing.
• Radio has a SAT button (most SAT Ready Nis/Infi Radio's don't have the actual "SAT" button)
• The word "CAT" or "Category" is printed on a button or right next to it.
• Please Note that almost EVERY single Nissan/Infiniti Radio is completely different, w/ different buttons for SAT.
• XM/Sirius Ready Radios: There are 2 possible kits for your car, they are IDENTICAL, the only difference is where they connect in the vehicle. EVERY "SAT READY" compatible vehicle has the option to use either kit, please read below:
• PA15-INFI - Connects at XM TUNER. If vehicle is equipped with the actual XM Tuner, you may use the INFI kit. Vehicle MUST have XM Tuner is car. Does not matter whether Sat Radio is subscribed to / paid for, only that TUNER is there.
• PA15-NIS - Connects at BACK OF RADIO. This is the preferred and most commonly used kit. If you do NOT have the XM Tuner, aren't sure whether you have one or prefer to connect at the back of the radio, USE THIS KIT.
• Satellite Radio is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
  • Satellite does not need to be subscribed to, it makes no difference.
  • Under "Radio Must Have This Button" column - if it lists SAT OR CH/CAT Button for your radio, regardless of what buttons your radio has, the radio MUST be SAT Capable.
    
• If your radio has a CD/CHG and you have an External CD-Changer (usually found in trunk, glove box or center console) it must be disconnected. All other external changers will work as normal.
• In-Dash CD Changer is not affected or disabled.
  
• Factory Navigation radio IS compatible for all cars unless it says "Non-Navigation Radio Only" in the far right column above.
• Rear Seat DVD is not affected, it will function as normal.
• Text is displayed on all radios with SAT button/SAT radio capabilities.

• G35 - 2003: Radio must have a SAT button.
• Altima - 2007-2009: Navigation Radio uses PA15-INFI kit ONLY.
• Must have external 6CD/MP3 CD Changer capability or be prewired for one. CD-C must be disconnected to use this kit.
• Rogue - Not Compatible with Navigation or Radio that has SD card slot.

Vehicle Compatibility:

If you meet all the criteria in Step 1 & 2, the PA15-NIS is 100% compatible with your vehicle. If you don't see something covered about your system, it's not relevant to this kit and wouldn't be affected in anyway.

How It Works:

Sound Quality: The PA15-NIS connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. Never use another Cassette or FM transmitter again! These can't compare to the quality of a direct connect adapter.

Control On Radio: The PA15-NIS offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks up and down. Your Preset's will allow you to access your music folders. Preset1 = Playlists, Preset2 = Artists, Preset3 = Albums, Preset4 = Plays All Songs on iPod, Preset5 = Allows Direct iPod Access, Preset6 = Selects Aux Input.

Control On iPod: You will also have full control on the iPod/iPhone itself to your entire music and video collection at the press of a radio button. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel are not permanently disabled. On iPhone/Touch you have complete access to Pandora, Sirius/XM or any streaming music program. It will play just like your iPod music (no radio control). You have access to 100% of your iPod/iPhone.

Text Display : The PA15-NIS displays text, offering even more integration! You will see the current song Artist & Title right on your radio display. No more blindly skipping through songs. When that song come up that you haven't heard in awhile, you can easily remind yourself who it is, just by glancing at your radio's display.

Charging: The PA15-NIS offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. When you change sources or turn off your car, your iPod will auto pause and shut off. When you get out of your car, your battery is fully charged and ready to go.

Aux Input: The PA15-NIS also comes with an aux input. Connect ANY device with an audio input jack like Sat Radio, Mp3 player, DVD. It's easily accessed from a radio button and the input is a red/white RCA.

Phone Calls: The PA15-NIS is an AUDIO adapter. Per Apple's design, the PA15-NIS will not interact with phone calls. Apple doesn't allow audio kits to also hear a person's voice through your speakers. When a phone call comes in, it will behave like it does now, the music will pause and it will switch over to the phone call. You will need to use an earpiece, handsfree car system, bluetooth, etc. They will work the same as they do now, no change.

How It Installs:

Installation: The PA15-NIS is an easy install for the average Do-It-Yourselfer. It's 100% plug and play, NO cutting or splicing any wires! Simply remove the radio, plug in the vehicle cable, connect the module and then the iPod cable. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. Who installs it?

• The Do-It-Yourselfer type or ANY local installer (Best Buy, Local Chain, Mom&Pop, etc).
• Are you sure that any installer can do it?
• YES! The installers basic training, qualifies them! The main part is to remove the radio, and they do that all day long.
• But I didn't buy it from them, will they still install it?
• YES! The majority of ipod adapters are only sold online. The installers are happy to make money doing the install.
