The iPAC-OEM / Soundbyte connects directly into the prewired cd changer cable in your car. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. By connecting directly to the radio, the iPAC-OEM / Soundbyte is able to provide the digital quality music from your iPod that you are looking for. Absolutely NO FM transmission ever again for you and your car.

The iPAC-OEM / Soundbyte offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks from the same buttons you currently change CD tracks and discs with. At the same time, you will also have full control from the iPod itself to your entire music and video collection. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel will NEVER be disabled. You can access 100% of your iPod.

The iPAC-OEM / Soundbyte offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. How It Installs:

The iPAC-OEM / Soundbyte comes with three parts: 1) the vehicle cable, 2) the iPAC-OEM / Soundbyte control module and 3) the iPod cable. The iPAC-OEM / Soundbyte is 100% plug and play – NO cutting or splicing any wires! Simply locate the prewired CD Changer cable in the car, plug in the vehicle cable, connect the module and then the iPod cable. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. The iPod is accessed on the radio by pressing the CD or SAT button on the radio. • Cadillac - Radio MUST have CD-Changer prewire plug (usually in trunk) for this to be compatible.Select Trunk Cable ONLY.
  
  • Regardless of whether a Changer is present, the prewire MUST be there. If it is NOT, this kit will not work.
• Corvette - Kit connects at either the back of the radio OR the prewired cd changer plug.
• Select the box at bottom for cable that connects to the back of the radio OR the prewired CD-Changer plug in trunk.
