• The MIT-POD is compatible if your vehicle has been selected above.
  
• If it still says "Select Make, Model, Year", then you MUST enter your vehicle details and hit "Find Products" to confirm this product IS compatible.

STEP 2: Review the technical notes

 Technical Notes:

• Please confirm your radio has "AUX" capabilities.
• To Check: Press and hold the CD button - Wait for a message - should say AUX IN or AUX on radio display.
• If no message appears - your radio is NOT compatible.
• This kit does NOT offer radio controls of the iPod. All control is done from the buttons on the iPod.
• Compatible with Nav and Non-Navigation radio.
• Grandis, Lancer & Evolution must have 14pin plug on back of radio. All others must have 22pin plug.
• In-Dash CD Changer is not affected or disabled.

If you meet all the criteria in Step 1 & 2, the MIT-POD is 100% compatible with your vehicle. Don't see something covered? If it's not listed above, it DOESN'T matter for this kit.

Step 3: Check iPod Compatibility

Compatible with the following iPods:

Do you have one of the Apple Products BELOW? Apple changed their new devices to charge via USB based 5v charging not 12v like older iPods. If you have one of the NEW devices below OR will in the future, you will need to make sure and check the box for the 5v upgrade under "Additional Options" at the bottom of the page. The upgrade is backwards compatible and will work with all iPods shown above and below. This upgrade also works with the Original iPhone, if you have it, you will need this upgrade.

Once again , you MUST check the box for this upgrade in the "additional options" section below. This is an Add-On and does NOT come standard with the kit.

The MIT-POD iPod adapter from PIE directly connects your iPod to your factory radio. • Accessed On Radio: By pressing the CD button twice on the radio. Once for CD, Twice for iPod.

• Cable Location: The iPod cable goes wherever you prefer. There is NO recommended place. It's your car, you decide. Your installer can help you select a location when installing.

How It Works:

Sound Quality: The MIT-POD connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. Never use another FM transmitter again!

Control: The MIT-POD offers control of the iPod from the iPod itself. There is NO radio or steering wheel controls. You will be able to change tracks, playlists, albums, and chapters ALL from the iPod. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel will NEVER be disabled. You have access to your entire music and video collection.

Charging: The MIT-POD offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. When you get out of your car, your battery is fully charged and ready to go.

How It Installs:

Installation: The MIT-POD is an easy install for the average Do-It-Yourselfer. Simply remove the radio & connect the vehicle plug and wires. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. Who installs it?

• The Do-It-Yourselfer type or ANY local installer (Best Buy, Local Chain, Mom&Pop, etc).
• Are you sure that any installer can do it?
• YES! The installers basic training, qualifies them! The main part is to remove the radio, and they do that all day long.
• But I didn't buy it from them, will they still install it?
• YES! The majority of ipod adapters are only sold online. The installers are happy to make money doing the install.
• If at any time, you're not comfortable doing it, have a professional handle it.
