As you may know, Apple has changed the way the new iPods charge. They charge via USB based 5v charging not 12v like all the older iPods.  Make sure to select the correct version under  "Additional Options" at the bottom of the page. The cable is backwards compatible and will work with all iPods that came before the new iPods below. This new cable will replace the one you currently have.

Once again, you MUST check the box for the correct cable in the "additional options" section below. This cable is an Add-On and does NOT come standard with the kit.  It only works on USA-SPEC kits. Do not purchase for use with any other kits by any other manufacturers. If using an iPhone, some kits may also require an update from USA Spec, if the kit doesn't have the internal update. There is no way to pre-determine this, you will first need to get the cable, then you can contact USA Spec if your iPhone isn't charging and they will update the box for you.
