How It Works:

The i-Honda-R4 connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. By connecting directly to the radio, the i-Honda-R4 is able to provide the digital quality music from your iPod that you are looking for. Absolutely NO FM transmission ever again for you and your car.

The i-Honda-R4 offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks, playlists, albums, and artists from the same buttons you currently change CD tracks and discs with. Please note, this adapter does not offer full control from the iPod buttons itself to your entire music and video collection. With the new browsing features added by DICE, Apple has required that the iPod be locked out. No worries though, the adapter does have a "simple mode" that allows for the iPod to be unlocked - full control ON the iPod. You will also have track control but you do NOT get the advanced features like text, browsing and folder access when you use the simple mode. The i-Honda-R4 also comes with an additional aux input for connecting any device with a headphone jack like Sat Radio, Mp3 player, etc. It is easily accessed from a button on the radio.

The i-Honda-R4 offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. When you change sources or turn off your car, your iPod will auto pause and shut off. When you get out of your car, your battery is fully charged and ready to go.

How It Installs:

The i-Honda-R4 comes with three parts: 1) the vehicle cable, 2) the i-Honda-R4 control module and 3) the iPod cable. The i-Honda-R4 is 100% plug and play – NO cutting or splicing any wires! Simply remove the radio, plug in the vehicle cable, connect the module and then the iPod cable. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. The iPod is accessed on the radio by pressing the CD or SAT button on the radio. It can be installed by the Do-It-Yourselfer type or you can take it to ANY local installer, dealership, Best Buy, etc. If your not comfortable doing it, have a professional handle it. i-Honda-R4 comes with everything needed to connect this to your car; there is NOTHING extra to buy.

• Compatible on BOTH Navigation & Non-Nav radio's
• Works perfectly on both radios, with no limitations.
• Have a SAT button, Dont have a SAT button? DOESN'T matter!
• Display's Text on Radio
• Accessed on radio by pressing the SAT button. Radio's w/o SAT capabilities will not display text.
• There is no kit and no way to display text on your radio if its not SAT ready.
• Satellite Radio MUST be disconnected. It will no longer work.
  
• In-Dash CD Changer/Player is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• Rear Seat Entertainment/DVD is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• If you have an External CD-Changer (usually found in trunk, glove box or center console) it must be disconnected.
