How It Works:

The mObAudio-POR connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. By connecting directly to the radio, the mObAudio-POR is able to provide the digital quality music from your iPod that you are looking for. Absolutely NO FM transmission ever again for you and your car.

iPod Connected to the CDR24 Radio

The mObAudio-POR offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks up and down, while also being able to access playlists, artists, albums and genres from the buttons on your radio. You can also have full control from the iPod itself to your entire music and video collection by the press of a button. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel is not disabled in the mode. You can access 100% of your iPod with the adapter. The mObAudio-POR offers an additional aux input for connecting any device with a headphone jack like Sat Radio, Mp3 player, etc. It is easily accessed from a button on the radio.

Text – mObAudio-POR displays text offering even more integration! You will see the current song Artist – Title right on your radio display.

The mObAudio-POR offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. When you change sources or turn off your car, your iPod will auto pause and shut off. When you get out of your car, your battery is fully charged and ready to go.

How It Installs:

The mObAudio-POR comes with three parts: 1) the vehicle cable, 2) the mObAudio-POR control module and 3) the iPod cable. The mObAudio-POR takes a certain level of skill to perform the install and isn't the average do-it-yourself kit. It is possible to be installed by the Do-It-Yourselfer type who is familiar with fiber optics but we highly recommend that you have a professional do it. You can take it to a local installer, dealership, etc. Our best recomendation is to have a local shop that works on Mercedes, Porsche, etc... Vehicles with Fiber Optic Audio systems, perform the install as they will be more than qualified.The iPod is accessed on the radio by pressing the CD button on the radio (once for CD, twice for iPod). mObAudio-POR comes with everything needed to connect this to your car; there is NOTHING extra to buy.

• If you have an External CD-Changer (usually found in trunk, glove box or center console) it must be disconnected. In-Dash CD Changer is not affected or disabled.
• Compatible with Nav Radio & Non-Nav Radios CDR23 & CDR24 Model Radios
• Nav Radio supports Text display.
• Non-Nav Radio's were not made to display iPod text, thus no text display is available.
• CDR23 & CDR24 Radios
• If your vehicle is NOT equipped with a Stock CD Changer, you will need to activate the "CD Changer Input" on the radio for the radio to be able to see the iPod Adapter.
• This is a very simple process that dealerships can do for you without a problem.
