• The PA15-TOY is compatible if your vehicle has been selected above.
  
• If it still says "Select Make, Model, Year", then you MUST enter your vehicle details and hit "Find Products" to confirm this product IS compatible.

STEP 2: Review the technical notes

Technical Notes:

• ALL Non-Navigation radio's use the PA15-TOY. (JBL, Non-JBL, Etc... ALL!)
• Radio Model AD6807 is NOT compatible. (usually found in Camry)
• If you have a Navigation / GPS radio, please see the chart below. Certain Model Years require the PA20-TOY. If the chart below says your model needs the PA20, please click on the link. ONLY the years stated need the PA20. ALL other years use the PA15. Purchasing the PA20 in hopes of more features only wastes your money.
• Text is supported on:
  • All non-nav radio's with a "Text" button.
  • Nav radios with a "text" or "title" button on screen.
  • All Nav radios 2006 & up (mp3 capable Gen 5 Nav systems)
  • Radio model 18904 (base model) doesn't support text. Normally found in 05/06 models-Tundra.
• In-Dash CD Changer is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• If you have an External CD-Changer (usually found in trunk, glove box or center console) it is NOT affected as long as your radio is SAT Radio capable. If it's not SAT capable, the cd changer must be disconnected.
• Rear Seat Entertainment/DVD is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
• Factory Satellite Radio is not affected or disabled. It will function as normal.
  • Avalon-2005-2008, Sequoia, Solara & Tundra 2007-2008 requires CAS-SAT cable to retain Sat Radio. MUST be purchased if SAT radio is subscribed to.
• Steering Wheel Controls are maintained and continue to work as normal.
  • Land Cruiser 2001-2003 & Sienna 1998-2002 requires CAS-TLC to retain factory steering wheel controls.
• 2009-2010 vehicles with USB Audio input not compatible with this kit.

• Avalon Vehicles
  
• Nav Radios from 2000-2004 ONLY require CAS-TLC.
• Non-Nav Radios from 2000-2004 - 1in25 of these radios will NOT link up to our kit correctly. These radios have different programming. If you have a 00-04 non-nav radio, there is a chance the PA15-TOY won't work. We have no way to predetermine this.
• Nav Radios from 05+ will come up as "AUX" on Nav.
  
• Sienna Vehicles
• Vehicles with Rear Seat DVD in models up to 2005 (including) require CDL-EXT. It connects to the ECU box in the rear of the car. No radio removal is needed nor can it be installed behind the radio. Must be installed at ECU box in trunk. For vehicles after 05, kit will connect behind radio.
• Tundra and Sequoia Vehicles
• Vehicles with Rear Seat DVD in models up to 2007 (including) for Sequoia and up to 2006 (including) for Tundra will connect this kit to the ECU box underneath the center console. It will not connect behind the radio. No extra cables are needed. For vehicles after 06 and 07 respectively, kit will connect behind radio.
• Izuzu Vehicles: Radio must have DISC button.

Vehicle Compatibility:

If you meet all the criteria in Step 1 & 2, the PA15-TOY is 100% compatible with your vehicle. If you don't see something covered about your system, it's not relevant to this kit and wouldn't be affected in anyway.

How It Works:

Sound Quality: The PA15-TOY connects directly into an available port on the back of your radio. Because it directly connects, it is able to stream HD quality audio from your iPod into your radio similar to how a CD Changer works. Never use another Cassette or FM transmitter again! These can't compare to the quality of a direct connect adapter.

Control On Radio: The PA15-TOY offers control of the iPod from the radio and steering wheel buttons. You will be able to change tracks up and down. Your Disc's will allow you to access your music folders. Disc1 = Playlist1, Disc2 = Playlist2, Disc3 = Playlist3, Disc4 = Playlist4, Disc5 = Playlist5, Disc6 = Playlist6, Disc7 = Plays All Songs On iPod, Disc8 = Allows Direct iPod Access, Disc9 = Selects Aux Input. YES, you will have 9 "Discs" when using this kit.

Control On iPod: You will also have full control on the iPod/iPhone itself to your entire music and video collection at the press of a radio button. No need to worry, your iPod screen and click wheel are not permanently disabled. On iPhone/Touch you have complete access to Pandora, Sirius/XM or any streaming music program. It will play just like your iPod music (no radio control). You have access to 100% of your iPod/iPhone.

Text Display : The PA15-TOY displays text, offering even more integration! You will see the current song Artist & Title right on your radio display. No more blindly skipping through songs. Charging: The PA15-TOY offers power to and charging of your iPod while connected. So any trip, long or short you battery will never run out. When you change sources or turn off your car, your iPod will auto pause and shut off. When you get out of your car, your battery is fully charged and ready to go.

Aux Input: The PA15-TOY also comes with an aux input. Connect ANY device with an audio input jack like Sat Radio, Mp3 player, DVD. It's easily accessed from a radio button and the input is a red/white RCA.

Phone Calls: The PA15-TOY is an AUDIO adapter. Per Apple's design, the PA15-TOY will not interact with phone calls. Apple doesn't allow audio kits to also hear a person's voice through your speakers. When a phone call comes in, it will behave like it does now, the music will pause and it will switch over to the phone call. You will need to use an earpiece, handsfree car system, bluetooth, etc. They will work the same as they do now, no change.

How It Installs:

Installation: The PA15-TOY is an easy install for the average Do-It-Yourselfer. It's 100% plug and play, NO cutting or splicing any wires! Simply remove the radio, plug in the vehicle cable, connect the module and then the iPod cable. Route the iPod cable to your desired location and you’re done. Who installs it?

• The Do-It-Yourselfer type or ANY local installer (Best Buy, Local Chain, Mom&Pop, etc).
• Are you sure that any installer can do it?
• YES! The installers basic training, qualifies them! The main part is to remove the radio, and they do that all day long.
• But I didn't buy it from them, will they still install it?
• YES! The majority of ipod adapters are only sold online. The installers are happy to make money doing the install.
